Our mission is to produce the highest quality, best tasting food in the Ohio valley. We grow only the best. Period. We never use toxic sprays or GMO's. We are always working to improve the health of our soil, because healthy soil produces healthy, great tasting food. We sell our products at farmers markets and to restaurants, grocery stores and corporate kitchens throughout the region.
~ Our Story ~
Freedom Farm was established in 2014 by John Bigham, Jr. when he was 16 years old on less than a quarter acre of land on his parents 100 acre farm in the rolling hills of west central Ohio. Today Freedom Farm manages over 20 acres including 3 acres of produce, and a small herd of jersey cows.
Freedom Farm partnered with the The Local Food Connection in 2016 to help bring their products to chefs and institutions all across southwest Ohio and Kentucky. Freedom Farm is dedicated to producing products with the highest quality and best flavor. Around 20 different crop groups are grown on them farm specializing mainly in potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, sweet peppers, baby eggplant, green beans, broccoli, Salanova salad mix, tomatoes and cucumbers.
